Despite some glitches with the electronic voting system delegates elected Robyn Benson as National President of the Public Service Alliance of Canada. Chris Aylward was elected NVP. CULE will be meeting with both of them on May 4.

CULE guidelines for social acknowledgments

The directors are responsible for the membership in their regions. If a member becomes seriously ill, has a serious accident, retires, dies, has a death in their immediate family, gets married, or has a baby; it is the responsibility of the director to ensure that appropriate acknowledgement is extended.

To-date, acknowledgements have not been consistent. It is hoped that the following guidelines will ensure that all members receive equal acknowledgement of memorable events which occur in their lives.
